Create a topic

Create a concept, task, or reference for your DITA project.

The main method of content creation in Heretto is the creation of topics. A topic can be a concept, a reference, or a task. Here we'll create a concept, which allows you to explain what something is. To create a concept topic:
  1. Click Create New.
  2. Note: Here we are selecting Concept, however, this is the same workflow to select Task or Reference.
    Under Topic Types, select Concept.
  3. Give your topic a Title by clicking in the Title field and typing.
  4. Click Create or Create & Edit.
You will see your topic in your main list of files.
Note: If you need to give an new title to an existing topic, simply click into the topic, click the title, and edit it.
